Fencing is among the oldest Olympic Sports, and has been included into modern Olympic Games program since the first Games in Athens in 1896. It is also a NCAA sport and rated #1 in college scholarships. During the five days session kids will be introduced to Olympic Fencing and will learn basic footwork, bladework as well as the rules. Besides fencing, it will be a lot general conditioning, games, and a lot of fun! Our three hours session will be broken by three segments with focusing on conditioning, footwork and bladework, and sparring. By the end of the program participants will have basic understanding of the sport and those who will decide to continue will be provided with guidance regarding High School and USFA fencing opportunities.
